American Nazi Party (ANP) is a pro-White political party founded in 1959 by George Lincoln Rockwell, headquartered out of Arlington Virginia (originally 928 North Randolph St). The organization initially had a focus on political rally’s and speaking opportunities on college campuses with a secondary focus on localized political activism. ANP later was able to amass an impressive membership base and spread across the country, with this spread of ANP’s reach ANP began fielding political candidates in various positions of public office.
At it’s height the American Nazi Party and it’s subsequent organizations held an estimated count of 1,000 members, After the murder of Commander George Lincoln Rockwell the organization (then known as “National Socialist White Peoples Party” was taken over by Rockwell’s Deputy Commander Matt Koehl which remained the Party’s leader until his death in 2014.
Throughout Movement history many splinter organizations were formed out of the National Socialist White Peoples Party, such as: National Socialist White Workers Party (1976) National Socialist Liberation Front (1974) National Socialist Party of America (1970) National Socialist Movement (1974). We have decided to include any and all splinter groups in this section out of simplicity.
