Robert Ernest Giles
American Nazi Party, N.S. White People’s Party
Not much is currently known about Robert Ernest Giles, but what we do know is that he was a very accomplished activist.
Giles was a participant in the American Nazi Party in the early 1960’s and was later involved with the National Socialist White People’s Party under the command of Ralph Forbes.
Giles was notably involved in a 1963 counter demonstration in the Torrance neighborhood known as “Southwood” while droves of blacks marched into the neighborhood demanding access to housing.
Robert Giles was also present throughout the lengthy legal battle between the American Nazi Party and the City of Glendale.
We will be searching for more information about Robert but until then it is important to give this activist the spotlight he deserves.
